Happy Valentines Day...

I usually don't get such a kick out of Valentines Day but listening to the kids try to figure out who gave them their secret valentines day cards today brought back funny memories of being a kid and all the excitement and sugar this day has to offer...Not sure about the rest of you...but I think the way to a girls heart is candy..works for me anyway...:)

Valentines was made all the sweeter today with Grandmas treats :)

The candy tastes as sweet as ever...but the wordings have changed a little over the years...not sure I remember "tickle monster" :)

the BIGGER picture is a project I started this year thru Deja Vu Photography that donates a portion of all the profits from my sessions to issues affecting women and children around the world thru campaigns such as World Vision...I believe when you look at the BIGGER picture you will realize how lucky you truly are...

This hockey season I donated $1 from each player (69) photographed to my friends medical mission to Haiti...Check out Dallas H Wiesner on www.facebook.com or email me for more info..You can donate money or items needed...such as vitamins, sunglasses, baby food..etc....

Kohl Family..

My last family session before Christmas(which seems like a LONG time ago now...) was the Kohl Family...I had a hard time thinking of a great place to take the photos...It was too nice to be in the studio..yet it was enough snow outside to get us from getting to alot of places..In the end...I took them to the Creek and shot their session just off the road..Almost looks like winter from there...most other places were bare....

Here's a sneak peek of the session...Was a alot of fun trying out a new location for the shoot...especially with such a easy going group!

Christmas is coming...slowly but surely! It's right around the corner...and this year I was ahead of the game..We got our family pictures taken this year from laurie ann(and her husband Andrew!!). You can check out her beautiful work at....

...and we luved them! It was a great experience being in front of the camera instead of behind :)

Well its that time of year again...Christmas is coming! If you didnt have enough time to make it in for a session..no problem...Bring your favorite photo into the studio...or email it to me and I can whip up some Christmas card samples (All cards are 5by7 and come with envelopes)

Last week I had a session in the studio with these the Ryan and Raelyne and their two gorgeous girls...

Typically Cruz likes to get under my feet..or jump on my back(literally) when I am taking photos for a session..but this time he helped out...Kept one little sweetie entertained when it was her sisters turn :)
